McDonald’s Twilight Nights Race #1
Congratulations to each of you for busting out of the norm last Wednesday and joining us for the first McDonald’s Friday Night Lights. We hope you all had as much fun as we did watching fat bikers, skiers, and snowshoers race around the base of Purgatory battling the terrain and elements in the dark. The first race got off to a killer start with fresh snow, tough terrain, and endless stoke and schwag. How awesome was it to be out in snowy cold winter weather!

Yes, that is not a typo. The McDonald’s Twilight Nights is too fun not to share the love, so we are letting any first timer you invite to join to try it for FREE on the 17th. We hope to see you and a new friend or more next Wednesday! No equipment? No problem. Durango Nordic, Mountain Bike Specialists, and Durango Running Company all have loaner gear available upon reservation.
As before, the courses will be new, short, fast and fun and we will be raffling off more schwag from our sponsors, McDonald’s, Carver’s Brewing, CrossFit Catacombs, Durango Nordic, Durango Running Club, Mountain Bike Specialists, Pine Needle and Purgatory.
As with last year, sweet prizes will be award to the overall winners for male / female and youth / adult for each category: fat bike, snowshoe, skate skiing and snow beast (one race – each category).
