Durango, CO: The film screening “Wild Horses in the Winds of Change” will be on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 6-9:30pm, Durango Arts Center, 802 E. 2nd Ave.

The cost of the tickets are $21. Tickets available at Durango Arts Center, on-line at www.durangoarts.org and at Cafe of Life, 925 Highway 3, Durango.

Schedule for the evening:

6-7pm: A reception featuring music of The Lisa Blue Trio www.lisabluesongs.com. A dinner of vegetarian Paella will be cooked on site, provided by Cafe of Life practitioners Dr.’s Petra and Clay Sullwold, and Dr. Jay Komarak, www.cafeoflifedurango.com/

7-8:30pm: Introduction of the film by Master of Ceremonies Tammy Sloan Smith, followed by the film Wild Horses In Winds of Change and a stimulating Q&A with filmmaker Mara LeGrand along with Jonathan Ratner from the Western Watesheds Project.
Special guest speaker Jonathan Ratner will then deliver a presentation titled “The Spider in the Web: What’s really behind the situation for wild horses on America’s range land.” www.westernwatersheds.org/

8:30-9:00pm: “Healing with Horses” with guest presenters Petra and Clay Sullwold from Cafe of Life. As chiropractors for people and animals, Clay and Petra will share their hands on healing experiences and insights with horses.
9:00 – 9:30pm: Winning bids for the silent auction will be announced and picked up at DAC.

Proceeds: Proceeds from this fundraiser will fund editing costs of the film.
