Shooting Death Update
La Plata County Sheriff’s Office said on Friday that no foul play is suspected in a shooting last weekend that resulted in the death of a La Plata County resident. On Saturday evening March 28th, Stacy Pazell suffered a gunshot wound to her head near the intersection of La Plata County Roads 502 and 501. A handgun was found near her. Burglary Suspect Turns Self In
Monday, I sent out a news release about a burglary that took place early Sunday on County Road 121 in western La Plata County. The news release included an attached photo of one of the suspects, taken by a security camera. That photo appeared in area newspapers and media websites. Sheriff Office Asks Help in Burglary Case
La Plata County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from anyone who may recognize security camera photos of one of two burglars who broke into a garage at a residence on County Road 121 in western La Plata County early Sunday morning.
