In the midst of the winter’s chill, Durango still hosts a plethora of events for the whole family. The Shakespearean week of Snowdown 2023 will be carried out through February 5th but the fun doesn’t stop there.
Tuesday, February 7th from 5:30-7:30, there is a slow bluegrass jam session at the Union Social House. For beginner/intermediate players, this is a great opportunity to practice and riff with other local musicians. Union Social House provides a casual atmosphere, food truck, and bar for dinner and drinks.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Adela Flora is hosting a Galantine’s Day at Animas Chocolate Company. On February 8th from 6 – 8 pm, create long-lasting dried bouquets while enjoying spirits and chocolate pairings.
The San Juan Citizens Alliance is bringing the Banff Mountain Film Festival to Durango on February 10th and 11th at 6 pm at the Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall.
