Hesperus Ski Patrol Ski Swap—This Weekend!

screen-shot-2016-11-03-at-2-28-22-pmIt’s that time of year again—time to start thinking about ski and snowboard season!  Part of that process involves ensuring your gear is ready to go and that you’re properly prepared.

This weekend is the Hesperus Ski Patrol’s 53rd Annual Ski Swap—an opportunity to buy new and used gear at low prices. Nearly 20 vendors from Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah will sell their inventory. There are more than 10,000 items from which to choose!

In addition to ski and snowboard gear, the Ski Swap will sell car racks, backpacks, hiking gear, and more.

The general public is also allowed to sell gear, for the low cost of $1 per item (with a minimum cost of $5). This is a great way to swap kids’ equipment for the next size, or to trade up for better gear. Sell what you have, then buy something else. Or, if you’re just getting into one of these sports, you could buy used items for a less expensive price.

The public check in to sell gear will be Thursday from 3-8. If you volunteer at the Swap, you get the option to shop on Friday night. The actual Ski Swap will be this Saturday, November 5 from 8 am to 4 pm at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.

The Ski Swap is a fantastic opportunity to look for all types of equipment, and in a variety of price ranges. Take advantage of so many options in one place, and shop at The Hesperus Ski Patrol Ski Swap this weekend! Here’s the link for more information: http://www.hesperusskipatrol.org/ski-swap
