Blues, Mtn & Soul

Blues Mtn & Soul is a brand new art studio & shop on Main Avenue. Graphic illustration artist Brian Banash has filled the building with wall-sized recreations of his work. He plans to operate his own art business, Banash Illustrations, out of downtown Durango. His pieces feature blues and rock ‘n’ roll stars, takes on the local landscape and more.

Sage – Farm Fresh Eats

Zia Taqueria will be opening a new farm fresh eats concept at 3101 Main Avenue in the fall of 2021. It will be fast-casual concept with a rotating menu of soups, salads, sandwiches and grain bowls. Sage – Farm Fresh Eats will showcase what local farmers and ranchers produce. The new concept will be based around the same Zia principles: Buy local. Support the community. Strive for environmental sustainability. Be kind. Pay a living wage. Stay affordable.

Zia Cantina

Zia Taqueria has partnered with Peach Street Distillers to open Zia Cantina, an upstairs bar, rooftop patio and event space in the North Main District. Zia Cantina will offer creative cocktails featuring local spirits and draft beer with a unique, fun and family-friendly environment.

Durango Trout Pond

A new catch and release trout pond is located at Alpen Rose RV Park in Durango. It is open 7 days a week from 9:30 am to 11:30 am for visitors with reservations.

Axe Throwing at Durango Adventures

Durango Adventures is introducing a new and exciting way to have some outdoor fun … axe throwing! This activity can be done by just about anybody for any occasion; families, friends, corporate groups, special occasions, or simply a fun night out! We are now open and taking reservations online and over the phone.
