We oftentimes say Durango has a little bit of everything, but this weekend’s expo at the Fairgrounds proves that fact! The What A Girl Wants Expo this Saturday, November 9, from 10am-4pm will feature a full day of women-centered events, information, gift ideas, and more.
This is a fantastic set of resources for women of all ages. There will be workshops that cover body image, motherhood, mindfulness, women in business, sports, and more. In addition, there will be a cocktail competition at the Expo, and proceeds benefit the Women’s Resource Center of Durango.
There will also be entertainment: yoga, dance, and music, as well as wine from Four Leaves Winery available while you shop. They even design the eating area “family style” to encourage conversations with other women. The Expo will feature jewelry, hair and nail salon vendors, children’s products, sports and outdoor products, home décor, food and cooking, and many other interests.
