Library’s Cycling Film Series Features “Ride the Divide”


Durango, CO – In honor of being the host city for the overall start of the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge, the Durango Public Library will be screening “Ride the Divide” on Monday, August 6 at 6:00 p.m. An award-winning feature film, “Ride the Divide” documents the world’s toughest mountain bike race, which traverses over 2,700 miles along the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains.

The film showcases mountain beauty and small-town culture as its three main characters pedal from Banff, Canada to a small crossing on the Mexican border. This film is not rated; run time is 80 minutes.
