Passover is here!
Passover is an eight day festival celebrated in the early spring… this year from April 8 – April 16, 2020. Pesach (the Hebrew word for Passover means “to pass over”) remembers the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt.
Pesach is highlighted by special ritual Seder meals that include four cups of wine, eating matzah and bitter herbs, and retelling the story of the Exodus. You can find the story in the Book of Exodus in the Hebrew Bible.
